Insurance

J&P Cycles® offers a comprehensive insurance program with a number of supplemental options. Eligibility for the following benefits begins on the 1st of the month following 90 days of full-time employment.

Medical Coverage An optional benefit that provides medical and prescription drug coverage. J&P pays the majority of this benefit and your share is deducted for you from your paycheck on a pretax basis.
Dental Coverage An optional benefit. J&P pays the majority of this benefit and your share is deducted from your paycheck on a pretax basis.
Basic Life Insurance A benefit paid in full by J&P, this coverage provides a benefit of $20,000 in the event of your death.
Supplemental Life Insurance This is an optional benefit that affords financial protections for you and your eligible family members in the event of death. This is paid by the employee and deducted from your paycheck on a post tax basis.
AFLAC Insurance An optional benefit which allows you to purchase supplemental insurance coverage in the areas of cancer, hospital protection, accident, short term disability, and sickness. This is paid by the employee and deducted from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis.

Disability & Flex Benefits

J&P Cycles® offers Flex Spending Accounts to assist with medical and dependant care expenses throughout the year. Eligibility for the following benefits begins on the 1st of the month following 90 days of full-time employment.

Short Term Disability A benefit paid in full by J&P, this benefit will offset lost finances in the event of an unplanned accident or planned surgery.
Long Term Disability A benefit paid in full by J&P, this benefit is a continuance of Short Term Disability in the event your illness or accident causes you to be off work longer than the 13 weeks covered by Short Term disability.
FSA- Medical Reimbursement Account An optional benefit that allows you to set aside up to $5000 per calendar year for out-of-pocket health care expenses through a pre-tax payroll deduction, Paid by employee.
FSA- Dependent Care Reimbursement Account An optional benefit that allows you to set aside up to $5000 per calendar year, through a pretax payroll deduction, to pay for dependent care expenses. Paid by employee.

401(k)

J&P Cycles® values their employees and understands the importance of saving for retirement. In recognition of this, here is no vesting schedule on our 401k package. Once you are eligible and enrolled, J&P begins contributing immediately to your retirement nest egg.

  Benefits Eligibility Begins
401(k) Program A savings program that allows you to defer your salary into a variety of investment options pre-tax. J&P matches your contributions dollar for dollar up to 3% that you contribute. These contributions are contributed annually and there is no vesting period so this contribution by the company is yours immediately. January 1 and July 1 of each year is open enrollment time. You must complete one year of service to participate in the 401k, so your hire date will determine when you will be eligible.

Leave Time

J&P Cycles® values their employees and understands the importance of time away from work. In addition to Bereavement and Holiday pay, we offer a generous Paid Leave Time Program. Our full time employees earn a week of vacation after 6 short months of service and an additional 2 weeks at their one year anniversary!

  Benefits Eligibility Begins
Bereavement Leave Provides paid time off in the event of the death of a family member designated under the bereavement leave program. Paid by J&P. 1st of the month following 90 days of full-time employment
Holiday Pay Provides paid time off for observed holidays. Paid by J&P. Eligible after 30 days of full-time employment
Paid Leave Time Provides paid time off based on PLT program and years of service. Start earning vacation after only 90 days of employment.

Tuition Reimbursment & Parts Discount

J&P supports your continued education through the Tuition Reimbursement Program as well as offering continuing education on site with a full-time training department. Are you interested in apparel and motorcycle parts? Employees enjoy discount pricing from our showroom, catalogs, and website!
